At A Real Friend In Need, our work is done by skilled tradespeople and dedicated volunteers who use their talents to repair, restore, and renew homes for those who need it most. From fixing leaky faucets and repairing doors to restoring safety and comfort — every project is done with care, quality, and compassion.
Thanks to donations and community support, we’re able to offer these services free or at little cost to families, seniors, and individuals who cannot afford home repairs.

A Real Friend In Need supports individuals and families with skilled minor repairs, including fixes to walls, doors, appliances, sinks, and other small home needs that we approve as appropriate.
We step in to help those who cannot afford immediate services, offering reliable and compassionate assistance whenever possible.
A Real Friend In Need fills critical gaps by providing minor essential repairs when people have no funding available, ensuring individuals and families in need can have important items fixed for their daily living. We assist with small home repairs—such as appliances, sinks, walls, and doors—to help maintain a safe and functional home.
We complete these repairs within our ability and only when funding is available, and all assistance is offered on a first-come, first-served basis so we can support as many households as possible.
